Yes, we can take our clients to their appointments in their own private vehicle or we can take them in our caregiver’s vehicle. There is an extra mileage charge if our caregiver uses his or her own vehicle. Our caregivers all have their own auto insurance and are bonded by CareBuilders at Home.
No, you do not have to be homebound to receive our services.
Yes, we have an hourly rate and a live-in daily rate based on the needs of the client.
Yes, we work with many different long-term care insurance companies and would be glad to contact yours to see what type of documentation that they require in order to cover our services.
No, unfortunately Medicare does not pay for non-medical provider services at this time.
Some private insurance companies do pay for this service. Check with your individual insurance company to see if they cover this type of service.
No, our rate consists of our caregiver’s wages, payroll taxes, benefits, federal and state unemployment insurance, workers compensation insurance, and professional and general liability insurance. No money is ever exchanged between our clients and our caregivers.
As a non-medical home care provider we are only allowed to provide medication reminders after the medications are set up in pill boxes by the family, home care or hospice company.
